We left Aunt Sharon’s house this morning at 5:30am, our destination, home. It was a nice crisp morning, low clouds hung in the sky moving quickly off to the south as if in a hurry to get somewhere. The roads were dry after the evenings rain. The darkness of the landscape lit up on occasion by homes, or business, cars were few, which made for a good start on the journey. I switched the clock ahead by 2 hours since that is the time at home and it also give me 2 more hours of drive time. The trip was thus far uneventful, which is also a good thing. We arrived in Flagstaff about 6pm, got our rooms and showered so as to be ready for the early rise to begin what might be the last leg of the trip home.
